I began my yoga practice during the pregnancy of my first child in the fall of 2010. Through my practice, I was able to connect to my body in a loving way for the first time in my life, allowing me to not only bond with myself but my growing baby as well. When I gave birth two months premature, I heavily relied on the teachings of my practice to guide me through that difficult time.
Witnessing firsthand the power yoga has to transform a life, I became RYT 200 Hour certified in March of 2012 and currently have over 300 training hours. My classes are a playful mixture of challenging asana sprinkled with a dash of humor to lift your spirit.
I find inspiration by attending weekend immersions with some of my favorite instructors like Kathryn Budig, Mark White, Wanda Gilhool and completed Baptiste Level 1 training in June 2013 with Baron Baptiste.
You can find me teaching studio classes weekly at Charlotte Family Yoga Center and in Birkdale or being about the business of mamahood in and around Charlotte.
